Do you happen to know if the rate at which you gain levels for new champ masteries is the same as getting new attack/defense points? I imagine there's a time at which it's more cost effective to shift from one to the other, but I haven't been able to figure that out. It doesn't matter either way, as long as you are training your players and replacing them when they get old. So if you focus champion mastery and suddenly that champion is no longer playable after a patch, it was wasted as opposed to just putting those points into raw stats.Īt the end of the day it is just risk/reward and you make the decision what you want to do. A player with high stats but low champ mastery is an all-rounder, a player with low stats but high champion mastery is a one or two-trick usually.Ĭhampions can also be very meta-dependent. Even with better stats all around the player ai will. The game is fun for a few hours until you realize the ai is the only real 'challenge'. There is no actual challenge in the game, its all fake which is sort of bummer. That is essentially a 2 for 1, you get getting 2 stat points for the price of 1, at the cost of being on a very specific champion.
